West Brom fans react as Slaven Bilic confirms Grady Diangana will stay at club
There was talk of the young winger returning to West Ham for the second half of the season.
Slaven Bilic has confirmed that West Ham loanee Grady Diangana will remain at the club on loan until the end of the season.
Diangana is injured ahead of the weekend match against his parent club and Bilic’s old team West Ham in the FA Cup fourth round.
As per the Express and Star, Bilic said: “He is staying with us – we are delighted with that. The club has done a good job, a brilliant job. That’s what we’ve been trying to do and we’ve put a lot of effort in over the last six weeks to try and keep him with us at least until the end of the season.
“That’s what he wanted, big time. I’m so happy that he’s staying. He should be back for a crucial stage of the season. We are talking about weeks. He’ll be back when we really need him. We need him now – but the key information is that he’s staying with us.”

Plenty of West Brom fans took to Twitter to rejoice about the extension of Diangana’s loan deal, which should offer a huge boost to their promotion hopes.
The Baggies had been faltering slightly in the promotion race – and Diangana’s injury means he can’t offer an instant boost – but it should lift the mood.
And as Bilic says, he should be back when West Brom really need him; the business end of the season when promotion will be decided.
So that’s one done… not a lot now… just fergie, tulloch contract extensions. Orsic, a striker signed and pereira permanently. Reckon you can do all that lads?
