A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun on Sunday (19/1; page 65) suggesting that Leeds United are amongst the group of Championship sides keen on loaning Rekeem Harper.
It may not have been a huge surprise to see Harper on the move this month. Despite impressing last season, he has barely featured for the Baggies this term.
The 19-year-old has made one substitute appearance in the Championship. And it appears that a number of second tier rivals are monitoring the situation.
The Sun on Sunday (19/1; page 65) reported at the weekend that the Whites want Harper on loan.
Meanwhile, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and Charlton Athletic have also been interested in the teenager.
However, the report noted that Slaven Bilic is not interested in letting Harper leave the Hawthorns on a temporary basis.
And it appears that Bilic’s stance will leave a lot of fans feeling extremely relieved.
Several West Brom supporters have taken to Twitter to insist that the Baggies must not allow Harper to join Leeds this month.
The pair sit in the automatic-promotion spots in the Championship. Some do not want Harper loaned out at all, but those not against the idea have insisted that he must not end up at Elland Road.
Here is what some of the supporters make of the surprise reports…
No way we should loan him out to Leeds

If goes out on loan and Bilic sanctions it then that’s OK, but not to a promotion rival. 🔵⚪
