Sam Johnstone has been called into the England squad for the very first time and West Brom supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
The custodian has been named by Gareth Southgate for the forthcoming fixtures, with Jordan Pickford missing out through injury.
Johnstone has played all but one of West Brom’s 29 matches and has kept five clean sheets throughout the 2020/21 campaign.

The 27-year-old has spent time with Aston Villa during his career and has also spent time on loan with several Football League clubs.
With West Brom struggling this season, it should tell a story about just how well Johnstone has been playing.
Had he not been in the Baggies goal during the current campaign, their position could arguably be even more perilous.
Following today’s news, the West Brom faithful have taken to Twitter to discuss Johnstone’s inclusion in the England setup.
Here is a selection from the fan base as the goalkeeper prepares to link up with the squad for the first time.
