West Brom and West Ham fans react to Grady Diangana’s display

A number of West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to laud Grady Diangana’s performance in the Baggies’ 2-0 win at Stoke City on Monday.

Diangana has already proven to be an inspired signing for Slaven Bilic’s men. The 21-year-old had already scored four goals and contributed three assists in the Championship going into the game.

West Brom went to the bet365 Stadium looking to go back to the top of the table. And they secured the three points to get back to the summit.

Diangana proved to be a game-changer once again. The winger provided the assist for the opening goal after some fantastic work on the left wing. He used his skill to get around two defenders before playing a one-two with Jake Livermore.

The West Ham loanee then slid an inch-perfect pass across the box for Matt Phillips to find the back of the net.

He could not add to his assist tally, but still played a key role in West Brom’s second. He was brought down inside the box after a horrific challenge from Cameron Carter-Vickers. The tackle saw the defender go over the top of the ball, but Diangana still managed to make the Spurs loanee look even more foolish by producing a delicious touch before he was brought down.

Interestingly, it appears that West Brom and West Ham fans agree that he needs to stay at the Hawthorns this season. There are some Hammers supporters who want him back in January, but most believe that he would be better off staying where he is.

He is playing regularly and performing superbly. And plenty of West Ham fans think that bringing him back to the London Stadium in January would be a mistake.

Here is what some of the fans of both clubs made of Diangana’s display…
