West Ham United are in good form at the moment.

David Moyes’ side have recovered from a concerning start to go unbeaten in their last four Premier League games.

The impressive Hammers have beaten Wolves and Leicester, and taken a point off both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

The team have undoubtedly improved since switching to a system that uses three central defenders as well as wing-backs.

While the Hammers have actually looked decent at the back, there is a player who is making for uncomfortable viewing at another Premier League club.

Wesley Fofana was a reported target for the Irons before they landed Craig Dawson, with Sky Sports reporting a £33 million bid was even made.

He’s turned out three times so far for new club Leicester City, and he’s made a simply brilliant start.

Fofana – who Leicester got in a deal that could reportedly reach £30 million (Sky Sports) – was outstanding against Arsenal in Leicester’s 1-0 win last night.

According to WhoScored he recorded a pass completion rate of 86% and made five interceptions.

Against Aston Villa on his debut, he three tackles, three interceptions and made nine clearances, with a pass completion rate of 79.5%.

For a 19-year-old, these were highly impressive showings.

He appears to play with a maturity well beyond his tender years, and although West Ham are not yet shipping goals, Fofana’s early form at Leicester will be slightly awkward to watch.
