RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner has been urged to join Liverpool by Sadio Mane and Naby Keita (via Goal).
The Reds pair have applied the pressure on Keita’s former teammate, who was linked with a switch to Anfield during the January transfer window.
Werner is regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in German football, having plundered 45 goals in 83 Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig.

He, like most of his teammates, had a poor World Cup in 2018, but has responded emphatically in 2018/19 by scoring 11 goals.
He would certainly be an exciting signing for the Reds who already boast one of the most frightening attacks in Europe.
One man who might be playing close attention to the situation is Harry Wilson.
Werner would dash Wilson’s first-team hopes
Wilson is currently flying with Derby County in the Championship.
His loan stint has yielded 10 goals so far and he has impressed with his fine technical ability in a variety of positions under Frank Lampard.

He will surely have his eye on a place in Liverpool’s first-team squad next term having excelled in the second tier.
But if the club snapped up Werner then it may just prevent him from getting the chance he perhaps deserves.
Werner is an explosive talent with an extremely bright future. If Liverpool can facilitate what would be a costly move to sign him, then Wilson may need to look elsewhere for game time.
