Manchester City have confirmed that Ruben Dias has signed a new long-term contract with the club until 2027.
The Premier League champions announced on their official website that the Portuguese defender had penned a new deal with City. Dias’ new contract will keep him in Manchester for the next six years.
The 24-year-old centre-back was one of City’s star performers last season following a blockbuster move from Benfica. Indeed, Dias was key to the club winning their fifth Premier League title, and the defender has been rewarded with a new contract.

Alongside John Stones, the Portuguese star formed one of the best centre-back partnerships in the Premier League. And speaking to the club’s official website, Dias was buzzing to sign a new contract.
Dias said: “I’m very happy to sign the new deal. I have enjoyed every single minute of my time at City since joining last year.”
The defender added with: “Playing for City has surpassed all my expectations and it’s an absolute pleasure to be part of such an incredible squad.”
