Sergio Aguero is perhaps the obvious choice for Manchester City, with his hat-trick proving the difference on the day. The Argentine striker continues to prove his worth to the Champions League semi-finalists, scoring his 19th, 20th and 21st goals of the season, and there’s no doubt he will be at the centre of Pep Guardiola’s plans for the club.

For Chelsea, Pedro was undoubtedly the greatest threat. Despite the visitor’s dominance throughout proceedings, the Spanish international caused significant problems for Pablo Zabaleta down the left-flank. Having completed 84.9% of his passes, while fashioning two scoring opportunities for his team-mates, he is likely to grab the MotM vote for the London outfit.
