A handful of Tottenham fans on social media have hope that the club could appoint RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann as Jose Mourinho’s successor should the Portugeseman leave Spurs in the near future.
The 33-year-old manager has been reported with a move to the north London club for some weeks now, with The Telegraph reporting in February that the former Hoffenheim manager is Tottenham’s top target should Mourinho face the sack at Spurs.

And Tottenham’s chances of recruiting Nagelsmann have seemingly improved as Bavarian outlet TZ Muenchen report that Bayern Munich are yet to speak with the RB Leipzig manager after Hansi Flick’s side were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by PSG this week.
Whilst a vague update, the news was enough for some Spurs fans to take to social media to celebrate the news as it gave them hope that they’re still in the race for Nagelsmann’s signature, with the German manager likely to be a wanted man in the summer transfer window.
Here’s what a few Spurs fans had to say about the news on Twitter…
