Could Wenger bring the best out of Balotelli?
Mario Balotelli could make a sensational return to English football this summer, with Arsenal reportedly keen on making the AC Milan man their centre-forward for next season.
Wenger is in desperate need of another striker to provide competition for Olivier Giroud.
But Balotelli comes with a questionable temperament and inane ability to go from the sublime to the ridiculous in the flick of a switch.
This was evident at the Emirates two seasons ago when he was sent off for lashing out and he is the sort of player Wenger would normally avoid at all costs.
At present the dressing room is a very happy place and Wenger would need to work hard to integrate Balotelli and get him in tune with the rest of the squad.
Balotelli would also enable Mesut Ozil to showcase his true talents as he could thread balls through for the striker to chase.
Returning to England would also offer him the opportunity to silence his critics who in essence blamed his for Roberto Mancini’s sacking.
His time at Man City was littered with disciplinary issues and foolish off-field antics but he seems to have mellowed since moving back to his homeland with AC Milan.
He scored 14 goals in 30 league games last season for a dire AC Milan team but his best performances have come in the Azzurri blue.
The 24-year-old was at his devastating best during Euro 2012 in leading his country to the final with the highlight being a stunning brace against Germany in the semi-final.
But some people can argue about his atititude then go back and see robin van persie as he was also indiscipline, arrogant and very raw product and its wenger who turned into a world class player .
Apart his horribble attitude Super Mario has always had the world-class skill that could set him apart from the plethora of strikers looking to put their dent in the game. But he hasn’t had the right mindset to truly exploit his undeniable talent thus far.
Balotelli seemed to be on the right course to finally hone his immense potential, as he scored a goal in nearly every game he played for Milan. With the skill Balotelli has at his disposal, he could lead the line for any team in the world and arsenal realy need that kind of player up front.
