Rangers defender Lee Wallace had a rare cameo during the club’s 2-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.
Playing just his third game of the season, and his first since December, Wallace replaced Jermain Defoe with five minutes left.
By this point, the Gers were 2-0 up – thanks to two James Tavernier penalties – and Aberdeen were reduced to 10 men.
Wallace’s introduction was greeted with a standing ovation from the Rangers faithful and his name rang around Ibrox, possibly for the last time.

The veteran left-back has struggled this season with Steven Gerrard freezing him out. But fans were pleased to see him bid farewell.
Wallace has found himself behind Borna Barisic, Andy Halliday and Jon Flanagan in his bid to play at left-back for Rangers.
And a summer exit looks inevitable, considering the 31-year-old’s contract expires in the summer.
Nevertheless, Rangers fans had the chance to say goodbye to the former Scotland international, who has racked up over 250 appearances for the club since his move from Hearts.
Wallace appeared to bow out with a victory and here are some tweets from Rangers fans after he was given a five-minute substitute cameo.
