The CheekySport team have recently launched their official podcast show, and we have the pleasure of hosting Episode 1 on The Boot Room.

This week, Cheeky Akeem and Cheeky Just J look back at the weekend’s games, with the major focus being Jurgen Klopp’s new look Liverpool side.

Despite the intrigue that surrounded the German’s arrival on Merseyside, the Reds have struggled at times under his leadership.

The club’s weekend defeat to West Ham, courtesy of goals from Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll, once again highlighted a worrying lack of consistency for the Anfield outfit.

Meanwhile, the boys also discuss the form of Liverpool’s North West rivals, Manchester United, for whom normal service appeared to have resumed on Saturday.

Amidst the uncertainty that surrounds Louis van Gaal’s position as manager of the club, the Red Devils overcame a resilient Swansea side to record a much needed three points – bringing an end to a run of eight games, in all comps, without a victory.
