‘We need to go younger’: Liverpool fans react to links with Nacho Fernandez

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Real Madrid defender, Nacho Fernandez, with AS claiming the Spaniard was a player of interest to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

Nacho is set to line up for Madrid when they meet the Reds in a few weeks for their Champions League clash. AS claims Liverpool may well use that game to get a closer look at the 31-year-old.

The Spaniard was said to be on the radar of Jurgen Klopp as he looked to address the injuries in his squad over the Christmas period. Of course, the Reds signed both Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies late in January to provide cover until the end of the season.

But Liverpool fans have still been on Twitter discussing the potential of signing Nacho. And while he has experience and quality having won four Champions League titles, it seems some Reds fans are a bit unsure on the Madrid man’s suitability.
