Arsenal might have hammered West Ham 6-0 a week ago but Kai Havertz has revealed that there was one element the wanted to improve on yesterday.
The Gunners smashed another five past Burnley yesterday to continue their remarkable recent run of form and Havertz was once again among the goals.
The German forward has started to really tick in recent weeks. After being scrutinised for much of the season following his £65m move from Chelsea, Havertz is now playing a key role.

And speaking about the last two wins after the game yesterday, the 24-year-old revealed that Arsenal were not happy with not getting an early goal against West Ham the week prior and wanted to change that at Turf Moor.
“We wanted to start the game very well and we lacked that at West Ham. We wanted to change that so the early goal was very important to us. We scored a few more good goals and we’re happy with the win,” Havertz said.
Arsenal are seeking perfection
Just like Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Mikel Arteta is bringing the same element of seeking the perfect performances to Arsenal.
Any other team who had won 6-0 away from home might feel they’d hit the jackpot. But not Arsenal.
As Havertz suggests here, they’ve clearly gone away and looked at what wasn’t quite right and then gone to Burnley and made sure they did something different.
For the rest of the Premier League, that is quite a frightening prospect. Mikel Arteta has essentially watched his team dismantle the Hammers by six then go away and pick up on something that he wanted to be done even better.
Arsenal’s form at the moment is quite brilliant. They’ve scored 14 in just three games and conceded just once.
It is title winning form and at this crucial stage of the season, will set them up nicely for one last big push after the international break.
