Gary Neville says Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is currently injured and he’s trying to hide it while playing for England.
Kane has been in devastating form for Tottenham this season and has already bagged 12 goals in 15 Premier League games under Antonio Conte.
The 29-year-old is only behind Erling Haaland in terms of Premier League goals but he’s yet to open his account at the World Cup.
The Spurs talisman has provided three assists for Gareth Southgate’s side in Qatar but Neville thinks he’s currently disguising an injury.

Neville says Kane is injured
Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast, the Manchester United legend feels Kane is carrying a knock that is affecting his level of performances.
“He is carrying something, yeah he is. We know that, don’t we,” Neville said.
“He’s a solider in that sense, a warrior, he knows it’s a World Cup but I suspect he’s got something there that is niggling him. That 5 percent comes off you.”

Kane did take a heavy blow the the foot against Iran which required the England captain to undergo a precautionary scan.
But the Spurs man has started in both of England’s games since and is still providing creativity for Southgate’s side.
Kane definitely looks slightly off the pace right now but he is still proving to be a crucial part of England’s system.
His ability to drop slightly deeper and link-up play has been benefitting England’s wingers massively so far in Qatar.
Kane will be hoping to benefit from having four days between their 3-0 win over Wales and the last-16 clash with Senegal. The Spurs star will be eager to get off the mark on Sunday and open his account for the World Cup.
