Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has waxed lyrical about Harry Kane following Spurs’ solid Europa League last-16 first-leg victory on Thursday night.
Spurs ran out 2-0 winners over Dinamo Zagreb at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Kane netting both goals.
The prolific marksman slotted home a close-range finish on 25 minutes after Erik Lamela’s effort had clipped the post.

This was Kane’s 25th goal in all competitions this season, his best tally since scoring 41 for Tottenham in 2017-18.
The England captain then made it two midway through the second half, pouncing on a tame clearance and beating Zagreb goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic with a low shot.
There was concern at the end of the match as Kane came off with six minutes of normal time remaining after taking a kick to his knee.
He had an ice pack placed on it, but didn’t look overly concerned, and after the game, Mourinho believes his striker will be fine for Sunday’s North London derby.
“Harry I don’t believe is anything big,” he told BT Sport, as quoted by BBC Sport (22:23).
“Sunday is a match everyone wants to play and little things will not stop him. I don’t have the feeling it is anything serious.
“He is doing everything. He is doing the striker job of scoring goals. the team work of creating space and linking play and the extra work not many strikers do in defence.
“He helps us a lot. He has an incredible number of clearances from crosses and corners. We couldn’t be happier.
“I gave a rest to many of the players and am so happy with what Vinicius is giving us. But with Harry on the pitch it is a different story for us.”
As well as 26 goals this season, Kane now has 30 goals in 34 starts in major European competition.
