Tottenham have seemingly missed out on the signing of Dusan Vlahovic, with Atletico Madrid reportedly reaching an agreement for the striker.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the La Liga title holders are close to signing the 21-year-old attacker. As per the report, Atletico will pay €70m (£60m) for Vlahovic.
The striker has been one of Europe’s most hotly-chased prospects this summer. Furthermore, Spurs are one of the clubs regularly linked with the Serbian.

Fabio Paratici was eager to bring the youngster to north London this window. Harry Kane’s future is still up in the air despite the attacker returning to first-team training this week.
Moreover, Vlahovic could have been perfect to replace the England captain should Manchester City sign Kane this window. The AFC Fiorentina star scored 21 goals for the Serie A side last season.
Indeed, it was expected that the attacker would stay in Italy for the upcoming season. However, Atletico have ramped up their efforts to sign Vlahovic with two weeks of the window left to go.

And for Tottenham fans on social media, they are fuming that they have missed out on a talent like Vlahovic. The youngster could have been ideal to replace Kane if he leaves for City.
Here’s what some Spurs supporters had to say about Vlahovic potentially moving to Atletico on Twitter…
