A number of Arsenal fans have expressed their dismay over the report claiming Gunners star Kieran Tierney could be sidelined for several weeks.

The 23-year-old has been sensational for the Gunners all season, one of the most consistent and reliable players in Mikel Arteta’s ranks.

However, Tierney was forced off in the first half of the 3-0 defeat by Liverpool on Saturday after hurting himself in a clash with James Milner.

The Daily Mail has reported that the Scotland international is now set for a scan to give Arsenal a clearer indication of exactly how long he will be out.

And the Evening Standard claims the Gunners fear that Tierney faces being out for a few weeks, which would rule him out of the Europa League quarter-final tie with Slavia Prague.

Needless to say, the report has left plenty of Arsenal fans seriously concerned:

The Gunners are hosting Slavia on Thursday at Emirates Stadium in the first leg, before travelling to the Czech Republic next week for the second leg.

In between, Arsenal take on Sheffield United in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
