Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has praised Raphinha following his goal in today’s Premier League game at Elland Road.
The Whites hosted Everton and twice came from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw against Rafa Benitez’s charges.
Leeds conceded on the half-hour mark as VAR awarded the visitors a penalty, which Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted.

However, Mateusz Klich equalised for Marcelo Bielsa’s side with a dinked finish four minutes before half-time.
Demarai Gray then put Everton ahead again with a low finish in the 50th minute of the game.
And then, Raphinha came to rescue Leeds against the blue half of Merseyside once again.
The Brazilian curled home a superb effort into the top-left corner from the edge of the box.
In doing so, Raphinha became the first Leeds player to score in three consecutive matches against Everton since Peter Lorimer in 1978 (LUFCData).

Speaking after the game, Phillips told reporters: “We’re disappointed not to take the three points, after a great finish from Raphinha.
“We all know what kind of player he is and to put it in the bottom corner first time like that was great.”
Up next for Leeds is Tuesday’s League Cup second-round meeting with Crewe at Elland Road.
