Arsenal fans and neutrals alike have been giving their thoughts on reported interest in Mert Muldur.

The Athletic reports Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has been keeping a close watch on the Sassuolo right-back.

Arsenal look likely to lose Hector Bellerin this summer as the Spaniard looks for a new challenge.

If the 26-year-old leaves the Emirates Stadium, then Muldur could be a potential replacement.

Muldur shone for Sassuolo last season as he helped the Italians finish eighth in Serie A.

As well as featuring at right-back, he can also operate on the right wing, at centre-back and at left-back.

Muldur is also a Turkey international and featured for his nation at Euro 2020.

According to The Athletic, Muldur’s versatility is presumably part of his appeal.

Although Kieran Tierney has signed a new long-term contract, Arsenal are still looking for someone to provide competition and cover at left-back.
