Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are among the clubs reportedly interested in raiding Watford for loanee Pervis Estupinan – and fans of the Hornets have responded on Twitter, discussing the left-back’s future.
Estupinan, 22, joined Watford in the summer of 2017 from Serie A side Udinese. Udinese are owned by the father of Watford owner Gino Pozzo, which has seemingly smoothed over a move for Estupinan to Vicarage Road.
However, Estupinan has failed to make a single senior appearance for Watford despite being on the books for three years – instead going on loan to Almeria and Mallorca and now La Liga side Osasuna where he has completely shone.
The left-back has had a hand in five goals during his 26 La Liga appearances this season. Indeed, he has scored in a 3-1 win over Valencia while also laying on four assists, playing a crucial part in Osasuna avoiding a relegation dog fight.
Spanish newspaper SPORT claim that Tottenham and Manchester United are interested in signing Estupinan this summer, but face competition from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. He was expected to remain at Osasuna for another season.
Watford fans discussed the future of Estupinan on Twitter amid reports that both Manchester United and Tottenham are keen. Many identified the price they would sell the South American for, while others want him to replace Jose Holebas.

Hope this is true, Plus this will give us the option of playing Masina on the left side of a back 3 if we change formation at times which is needed in modern football…

Tell him we’ve got a bloke playing at left back currently who is 1 month away from being closer to 50 years of age than he is 20
