Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton is keen on a loan reunion with Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan, according to West London Sport.
They report that the new QPR boss is keen to bolster his side’s firepower and has turned to a man he knows well, having been the manager who brought him to Brentford back in 2014.
The report says that Hogan is set for a summer move, having failed to make an impact at Villa or loan club Sheffield United last season.
And given that Hogan played the best football of his career with the Bees, before injuries took over, Warburton may be the man to get him back on his best form.

Villa fans must be frustrated that a player with such obvious talent has been unable to make it work at Villa Park, but not many of them are likely to object to a loan move away.
That’s what Hogan needs to get himself back on track – playing every week is the only solution – and the Premier League wouldn’t be the best place for that.
Best case scenario, Warburton gets Hogan’s confidence back and Villa have a player the following season who is back on song.
Worst case, it’s another tricky campaign for Hogan, but it isn’t with Villa, as they have enough on their plate, grappling with Premier League survival. This one makes sense.
