Mauricio Pochettino is battling against an injury crisis at left-back ahead of tonight’s Champions League last 16 match against Borussia Dortmund tonight.
The BBC report that Ben Davies is still sidelined with a groin injury and that Danny Rose is a doubt with a shin problem.
With the pace that Dortmund have on the counter and the issues that Tottenham have had with leaving too much space in behind their full-backs, it’s vital that Pochettino gets it right tonight – but what are his options?
Kyle Walker-Peters was handed an immense show of faith in Spurs’ last Champions League outing, against Barcelona, but failed to impress early on when he gave the ball away to lead to Ousmane Dembele’s opening goal.

That will have been a learning curve for the man who could be set to deputise for Rose, out of position at left-back, if the England international doesn’t make the starting lineup.
Getting a start would give him the opportunity to make amends for that glaring error against Barcelona but with the likes of Jadon Sancho patrolling the wings for tonight’s visitors, it’s imperative that he does exactly that.
It would certainly be a tough assignment – playing on his wrong side – but it could be just the opportunity Walker-Peters needs to banish the memories of a testing night at the Nou Camp.
