Spurs star Harry Kane has agreed personal terms with Manchester City, according to Ian McGarry of the Transfer Window Podcast.

The Tottenham talisman has been linked with the Citizens for a number of weeks now.

But according to The Athletic, Spurs will not sell him this window to a Premier League rival “under any circumstances”.

Pep Guardiola was asked by the media about his interest in Kane on Friday.

The Spaniard stressed that a deal cannot happen until Tottenham change their stance.

“He (Kane) is a player for Tottenham Hotspur and if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, it is finished,” The Express quotes him as saying.

“I think Man City and many clubs in the world want to try to sign him, we are not an exception, but it depends on Tottenham.

“It is different to Jack. He had the release [clause] and Jack is different.

“Harry is exceptional and we are interested in him but if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, nothing more to say.”

“Kane has effectively agreed personal terms”

However, McGarry has suggested that pressure is in fact being put on Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

“Harry Kane obviously remains an ongoing project,” McGarry told the Transfer Window Podcast, as transcribed in The Express.

“But it is our information at the Transfer Window podcast that Kane has effectively agreed personal terms with City and his representatives, and that they are simply waiting on Daniel Levy to agree the fee.

“And of course Spurs themselves are investing quite aggressively in new players as well.

“Which kind of suggests that they know already that Kane will be leaving and they’re effectively strengthening their squad on the basis of the money coming in.”

According to Sky Sports, he remained on holiday in the Bahamas before travelling to Florida

Kane received criticism from some quarters for his actions, but he broke his silence on Friday.

On social media, he wrote that he “never refused to train” and was scheduled to return on Saturday “as planned”.
