Fabrizio Romano has revealed the latest message that Harry Kane has given to both Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich.
Romano, speaking via CaughtOffside, said that Kane’s preference is to make a decision by the end of the week.

Romano reiterated an earlier thought that Kane doesn’t want to move after the Premier League has begun.
Romano said: “Kane and his camp told Bayern and Spurs that the player’s preference is to make a decision by the end of the week as he doesn’t want to move after the beginning of the Premier League, so let’s wait and see.
“No clarity yet, no indications on what happens in case he doesn’t join Bayern.”
And despite this update from Romano, we really are no closer to knowing if Harry Kane will be a Tottenham or Bayern player in the coming weeks.
It seems clear that Daniel Levy will be the key decision maker in the saga.
If we do see Harry Kane in a Tottenham shirt against Brentord on Sunday then we may continue to do so until January at least.
Kane’s position of not wanting to disrupt the club or his new manager Ange Postecoglou once the season has started must be respected.
It’s clear that Kane has interest in a new challenge, but he’s once again willing to prove his Spurs loyalty.
Romano’s update says Kane wants a decision between a Spurs stay or a Bayern move this week
Unsurprisingly reports are now emerging over potential replacements for Kane should he leave.
Both Jonathan David and Aleksander Mitrovic have been credited with interest from Spurs today.

You would think both players would be pretty exciting replacements for England’s captain.
However, Tottenham fans would obviously rather see their lead man stay.
And despite Romano’s latest update, fans really are no closer to knowing if Kane will be a Tottenham or a Bayern player next week.
It’s pretty remarkable just how focused Harry Kane has looked in pre-season given all the speculation surrounding his future.
And perhaps even more astonishing is the possibility that Kane has played his last game for Tottenham.
