Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk seems really impressed with one of his young teammates’ performance for his country last night.

The international break is finally over, and the focus shifts to domestic football.

Liverpool are in the race to win the Premier League title, and they will be keeping a close eye on the game between Arsenal and Manchester City this Sunday.

The Reds, however, have their own game to focus on, and we’re sure skipper Van Dijk will remind everyone just how important it is that they win.

Virgil van Dijk applauds Liverpool youngster’s performance for his country

A number of Liverpool players left Merseyside to join up with their national teams last week.

Jurgen Klopp would’ve ideally liked to have all of his players at home, but we’re sure he would’ve been glad to see some of their performances.

Alexis Mac Allister, for example, has had an incredible international break, but another player who will return to Anfield with huge confidence is young Conor Bradley.

The 20-year-old won his 14th cap for Northern Ireland last night, and he was undoubtedly the star of the show for Michael O’Neill’s side against Scotland.

Bradley started on the right wing and had a solid game there, but he found himself on the opposite side in the 32nd minute to score his first international goal.

The youngster picked the ball up deep inside the box, cut inside beautifully and found the back of the net with a brilliant strike. That goal proved to be the winner in the end.

Bradley took to Instagram to celebrate his goal last night, and his Liverpool skipper, Virgil van Dijk, applauded him.

Harvey Elliott and Caoimhin Kelleher showed him some love too.

Jurgen Klopp will soon have a big dilemma

Conor Bradley’s emergence at right-back this season has been very, very special.

The youngster has played brilliantly almost every time he has been given an opportunity, and an argument can even be made now that he deserves to keep his place until the end of the season.

However, Trent Alexander Arnold is expected to return to action early next month, and he has been Liverpool‘s first-choice right-back for years now.

Jurgen Klopp will have a big dilemma over who to start at right-back when both Bradley and Alexander-Arnold are available at his disposal.

If Klopp wants our opinion, we think he should continue to use Bradley at right-back and start Alexander-Arnold in midfield.
