A video on Twitter has shown Eric Dier leaving the Tottenham Hotspur coach limping badly seemingly following their Champions League tie with Eintracht Frankfurt this week.
Tuesday proved to be another frustrating occasion for Antonio Conte’s side. They were unable to score and had to settle for a draw away in Germany.

And it seems that they may be in danger of a big injury blow ahead of their return to Premier League action this weekend.
Eric Dier limping in video
A video posted on Twitter from the account Kim shows Dier leaving the team bus incredibly gingerly. He can be seen clearly limping as he seemingly makes his way back to the hotel.

It is not clear when Dier sustained the issue. But he did pick up an early knock during the stalemate with Frankfurt. He did however, manage to carry on and see out the entire game.
Obviously, Dier and Tottenham will be hoping that the injury is not serious at all. It would be a major blow for Spurs to lose the 28-year-old for any significant period of time.
Dier has been one of the most consistent performers in the squad since Conte’s appointment. He is also a ‘leader‘. His form, of course, has earned the defender a recall to the England squad just in time for the World Cup.
He also deserves enormous credit. There is a chance that Dier played almost all of the game – a Champions League fixture against the Europa League champions, no less – with that injury.
However, he gave little indication that he was struggling during the draw. And actually, he did have some bright moments in the game.
It is a remarkable effort. And that just shows why Tottenham will be keeping everything crossed that the problem is not too serious.
