Manchester City confirmed on Friday that they had reached an agreement to bring Kayky to the Etihad Stadium after the end of the Brazilian season.
According to ESPN, the 17-year-old Fluminense star will move to City for β¬10million (around Β£8.8million) plus add-ons.
Kayky has emerged as one of the top talents in South America, already earning comparisons with Neymar, and was previously linked with the likes of Liverpool.
Despite interest from other leading clubs, City won the race to sign the wonderkid, who has scored twice in eight appearances for Fluminense in their state championship this year.
Kayky also started the Brazilian clubβs Copa Libertadores group stage opener against River Plate β a 1-1 draw β on Thursday.
During the game, the teenager displayed superb skill to weave his way through a group of opposition defenders, earning a free kick in a dangerous area.
The CONMEBOL Libertadores Twitter account shared footage of Kayky making a mockery of his opponents:
City will hope to secure their first trophy of the season on Sunday when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup final.
