Leeds United earned their fourth consecutive league win to go top of the Championship table with a late 1-0 win over Reading at the Madjeski – and Leeds fans will love a video that has emerged on Twitter of Barry Douglas celebrating on the coach.
After what was a somewhat equal game that saw Leeds far from their best, Jack Harrison started and finished a move after an excellent cross from Helder Costa. The Manchester City loanee headed home to win the match in the 87th minute.
Leeds played out the remaining minutes of the clash to the tune of ‘Don’t you know, pump it up, the Whites are going up’, and it seemed to catch on with some of Marcelo Bielsa’s players after the match.
Douglas, 30, remained an unused substitute as he struggles to get back in the side. But that did not stop the Scottish ace celebrating after the match, as skipper Liam Cooper posted a video on his Instagram story of Douglas dancing to ‘pump it up’.

Douglas has only been used seven times in the Championship this season, last being used by Bielsa back on October 19 as a late substitute against Birmingham City. The likes of Stuart Dallas and Gjanni Alioski have been used on the left side of the defence.
Indeed, Douglas has only played 34 times since joining Leeds in the summer of 2018 for £3million (Sky Sports), with injury and now losing his place in the side preventing him from being a regular in Bielsa’s side.
Leeds will be hoping that West Brom fail to beat Bristol City at home on Wednesday night after leapfrogging the Baggies into first place. Bielsa’s men are next in action on Saturday as they play host to struggling Middlesbrough.
