Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny is all-but certain to leave the Emirates in the summer.

The Egypt international’s contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season.

Elneny has been surplus to Mikel Arteta’s requirements this season, with just one Premier League start to his name.

He also hasn’t played for Arsenal since New Year’s Day, when he got six minutes against Manchester City.

However, Elneny continues to work hard for the Gunners and is very much taking pride in his training-ground efforts.

The 28-year-old took to Twitter to share footage from a session at London Colney.

In it, Elneny scores four superb goals from well outside the box.

He also comes close with two more attempts, an audacious lob which went just over and one that hit the post.

Elneny has been a good player for Arsenal over the years, and as a defensive midfielder, he’s not relied upon for goals.

In 140 Gunners appearances, he has registered just five goals, though he has also claimed nine assists.

Elneny’s tally for Egypt, meanwhile, reads eight goals and eight assists from 91 caps.

Nonetheless, he’s certainly been honing his shooting skills.

If Elneny was to come in for Arsenal over the next few games, don’t be surprised if he weighs in with a long-range screamer.

And even though he’s likely to leave the Gunners in summer, whichever club gets him will be getting a top player.
