Tottenham Hotspur have endured a rollercoaster of a season so far, and the January transfer window was no different.

Come February, Spurs got two new signings over the line – Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.

According to football.london, Antonio Conte is ‘content’ with the beginning of the process to shape the squad in his image.

Now, the Spurs boss has been putting his players through their paces ahead of their FA Cup fourth-round meeting with Brighton.

Bentancur has been away on international duty. So Tottenham fans may have to wait to see the central midfielder in action for their side.

Meanwhile, the Evening Standard has reported that Kulusevski has been granted a work permit. And he is in line to make his debut in the tie.

The Sweden international has been in training and the Spurs media team has been shining the spotlights on him.

Kulusevski was on the winning team in his very first training session.

Alongside Kulusevski, there was also a Spurs academy star, potentially giving a clue regarding Conte’s team selection on Saturday.

The player in question is Harvey White, who reportedly had a deadline-day loan move blocked on transfer deadline day.

The Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick claimed on Twitter that Hull, Luton, Sunderland and Portsmouth wanted White, but Conte ensured he stayed put.

“Suspect he’ll be needed for the bench,” added Kilpatrick.

“He is a quality player”

White is a central midfielder who can also fill in at left-back and centre-half. He has enjoyed a successful rise through the Spurs academy ranks.

White was a regular in Jose Mourinho’s training sessions and spent time on loan at Portsmouth last year.

“I’ve been pleased with what he’s done and been very impressed by him,” former Pompey boss Kenny Jackett told The News.

“I’m sure he will keep pushing hard and when he gets his chance, because he’s getting substitute appearances at the minute. He will take some shifting because I do feel he is a quality player.”
