Moses Simon has told Tribal Football that he expects his Nigeria teammate Victor Osimhen to leave French side Lille if he continues to do well in search of a bigger club – with Premier League sides Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool all interested.
Stil only 21 years of age, Osimhen has found the back of the net 18 times in his first season with Lille after joining the clu from Belgian side Charleroi last summer. He has a contract at Lille until the summer of 2024.
The Daily Express claim Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are all interested in signing the eight-time Nigeria international. French outlet Telefoot have claimed that an unnamed club have tabled an enormous £75million offer.
Simon, who has played numerous times alongside Osimhen at national team level, believes Osimhen is set to make a big-money move to a “bigger club” in the near future as he continues to score goals.
“We all know, Victor is a good player. He did well in Belgium with Charleroi and he is still doing well in Ligue 1,” Simon said. “Still very young, strong, a very good striker, a born goal poacher. If he continues to do well, he will move to a bigger club.”

TBR’s view – Which club is best for Osimhen?
Tottenham need a striker but given Champions League football is in doubt and that any striker would have to play back-up to Harry Kane, a move for Osimhen is unlikely. Arsenal should only have a go at Osimhen, under a couple of conditions.
The first is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the second is Alexandre Lacazette. Should the duo depart, then a move for Osimhen is worth considering – but a move to Liverpool is Osimhen’s best option.
Replacing Divock Origi, he would be first reserve in a side that are likely to be favourites for the Premier League and Champions League next season. A no-brainer for Osimhen, if Liverpool do not sign Timo Werner or Kai Havertz.
