Arsenal bided their time in the summer transfer window and ended up with three new arrivals.
Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal on deadline day after a loan deal was agreed with his parent club Chelsea.
Sterling follows Mikel Merino and Riccardo Calafiori through the door at the Emirates and whilst the trio will certainly add quality, many feel the window could’ve been so much better if a striker was signed.
Arsenal and Chelsea were interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen but that deal failed to materialise for both.
Now, he’s in talks to join a shock new club.

Victor Osimhen in talks to join Galatasaray
According to Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Turkish giants Galatasaray have opened talks with Napoli to sign Victor Osimhen.
Turkey’s transfer window doesn’t shut until September 13th, so they have just under two weeks to close a deal.
TBR Football understands initial talks have gone well and they are over a four-month loan which could be extended. There are no obligation clauses in the proposed deal at this stage.
Osimhen has agreed to the loan – but the two clubs and his people are working out the details.
The Nigeria international is not pushing for a move to Saudi.
Arsenal should target Viktor Gyokeres in January
It looks as though Osimhen could be unavailable during the January transfer window, so Arsenal should place their full focus on signing Sporting striker Victor Gyokeres.
If they are to close the gap on reigning champions Manchester City, they need a specialist number nine who’s capable of a 20-goal season in the Premier League.
As good as Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are, that total is probably beyond them.
