Victor Lindelof hails Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski on Instagram
Tottenham Hotspur star Dejan Kulusevski was named the best Swedish player of 2022 last night, and Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof hailed him on Instagram.
The 22-year-old Swede joined Spurs from Juventus in January this year. He is an unbelievable player on his day, and his performances over the last 12 months have been recognised now.

Just last night, Kulusevski was awarded Aftonbladet’s Guldbollen.
The award is handed to Sweden’s best male player every year. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been the recipient in 12 of the last 17 years, but other players from his country are taking over now.
Emil Forsberg won it last year for his performances for RB Leipzig, and in 2022, it’s Kulusevski, who has had a truly sensational time in the Premier League since his move to Spurs last January.
Manchester United’s £31 million (BBC) star Lindelof, who won the award two years in a row – 2018 and 2019 – was delighted for his compatriot after the award was announced last night.
He wrote on Instagram: “Tung är du! Stort grattis,” which translates to “You are heavy! Congratulations.”
Tottenham stars Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty also applauded Kulusevski on the social media platform.
TBR View:
Kulusevski has been excellent for Tottenham since his move in January this year.
The 22-year-old has started just 23 games, but he has scored six times and provided 13 assists. That is an excellent record, and he’s absolutely adored by Spurs fans.
Injury issues and Richarlison’s arrival have limited Kulusevski to just eight starts this season. He has still managed to provide five assists and score a goal, and it’s no surprise at all that he was awarded the Guldbollen last night.
Tottenham take on Unai Emery’s Aston Villa next in what will be a tricky clash. Kulusevski is expected to start again, and if he has a good game, Spurs should come away with a win.
