As reported by Spanish publication Sport, Liverpool are interested in signing exciting youngster Victor de Baunbag from RDC Mallorca.
de Baunbag is due to feature in an academy match against Barcelona on Sunday.
The Reds have supposedly contacted the player’s representatives to register their interest.

Just 18 years old, de Baunbag is fairly new on the scene and is yet to make his mark with Mallorca’s first-team.
The Madrid-born striker, whose family comes from Cameroon, is arguably the club’s hottest young talent.
de Baunbag is into his third season with the club at youth level, and has finished as the top scorer on every occasion since joining the setup.
His performances have caught the attention of the Reds, who could now move in one of the next couple of windows.
Something different
Standing at 1.91m tall, de Baunbag is not really a typically signing for Liverpool to go out and make.
Down the years Liverpool have never really counted on a target man-type striker with a big physical presence.

They currently have Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino alternating as the central striker, with Daniel Sturridge in reserve.
These players aren’t particularly tall and aren’t known for using their physicality.
Before those guys, Liverpool have had the likes of Luis Suarez, Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt.
The only comparable players to de Baunbag they’ve had down the years in terms of style were Christian Benteke and Rickie Lambert, who only had a brief spells at Anfield.

It would certainly be an intriguing signing, with de Baunbag still very much untested.
But perhaps Klopp simply wants a different option at his disposal, and de Baunbag is highly promising.
