Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier has named his countryman Allan Saint-Maximin as the player with the best technique in the league.
In an interview with Carre on Instagram, Meslier said that the Newcastle forward is capable of beating any defending one against one.
He also said that Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players in the Premier League and Erling Haaland is one of the best – and funniest overall.

Meslier on Saint Maximin
Meslier said of Saint-Maximin: “Very strong. Very, very strong. He impresses me. In one on ones, I think he passes everyone.”
Saka was described as ‘not bad’, alongside England teammate Phil Foden among the best youngsters in the division.
He also joked that he hoped City and Haaland were tired for their meeting with Leeds coming on the back of the winter World Cup.
Saint-Maximin was on fire against City earlier in the season and the challenge for him now is to show that form consistently.
Injuries haven’t helped him this season and he will be hoping those struggles are behind him as he looks to help Newcastle continue their strong form
It is nine goals in two games against Fulham and Brentford, which shows the level this Newcastle side can play at, and Saint-Maximin as unpredictable and entertaining as any player in the division.
Next up for the Magpies is a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United, who are moving in the right direction themselves under Erik ten Hag.
Leeds host table-toppers Arsenal, who are on a real high after beating Tottenham and Liverpool in consecutive home matches.
