‘Very painful’: Liverpool fans lament Divock Origi miss in loss against Burnley
Liverpool finally surrendered their unbeaten home record this evening as Burnley came out with a 1-0 win against the Reds at Anfield.
A late penalty from Ashley Barnes proved enough for Sean Dyche’s Clarets to come away with all three points and end Liverpool’s four year run of unbeaten results on Merseyside.
The Reds were never really at it and Klopp’s decision to leave out both Salah and Firmino from the start now looks ill-judged, with Divock Origi missing the best chance of the game in the first half, hitting the bar from close range.

And that miss seemed to be the big talking point following the game on Twitter. Liverpool fans lamented the miss from the Belgian, with most in agreement it would have changed the game completely.
With that, here’s what some Liverpool fans had to say on Twitter following Origi’s miss and a 1-0 loss to Burnley.
Klopp must be lamenting that Origi miss. Clearly cost them this loss!

The Origi miss in the 1st half was crushing. Bumpy roads…but that’s where mentality monsters are born. Tough times but heads up…we have the only person I would trust in these moments at the helm. https://t.co/SEwqmwE6Nc
