Crystal Palace icon Clinton Morrison has praised the Eagles for signing Michael Olise.
On Thursday, Palace confirmed the arrival of the talented 19-year-old midfielder.
The Eagles reportedly beat the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich to Olise’s signing.

Olise has signed a five-year contract at Selhurst Park after moving from Reading for a reported £8million.
He is Patrick Vieira’s first signing at Palace.
And Morrison was delighted by Palace getting the deal over the line, commenting on Sky Sports’ Instagram.

EFL Young Player of the Season
Olise is a left-footed attacking midfielder who spent time at Chelsea and Manchester City as a youngster but came through the ranks at Reading.
He primarily features behind a striker but is equally capable operating from the right wing and cutting inside
A strong dribbler with an eye for a through-ball, Olise was the primary creator for his team last term.
He made 44 Championship appearances for the Royals last season, bagging seven goals and 12 assists.
His efforts saw him win the EFL’s Young Player of the Season award.
“Following for a long time”
Palace boss Patrick Vieira was pleased to bring Olise to Selhurst Park.
“We have the tools in our football club to make him a better player,” he told the Eagles website.
“And we’ve known him quite well because he’s a player the football club have been following for a long time.
“I think it is important to refresh the squad, to bring some new faces, to bring young talent here, and this is a really good signing for us.”
