'Very funny': Kulusevski claims 24-year-old Tottenham defender is absolutely hilarious
Dejan Kulusevski has been speaking with Tottenham Hotspur’s official website and claims Cristian Romero is absolutely hilarious.
Kulusevski made the switch to Spurs back in January after completing a loan move from Juventus.
The 22-year-old has made a huge impact during his time in North London, alongside Cristian Romero.
Romero made his loan move from Atalanta permanent this summer and Kulusevski will be hoping to follow a similar path.
And it seems that the pair get along really well as Kulusevski has revealed that Romero is ‘very funny’.
Kulusevski claims Romero is hilarious
Speaking to Spurs Play, Kulusesvki was asked who the funniest member of the Tottenham dressing room is.
And the Swedish international surprisingly named the 24-year-old, as well as another teammate.
“Everybody jokes,” Kulusveski said.
“I think Romero is very funny, but Son is also a lot of fun.”
The pair have clearly struck up a good relationship over the past nine months and Kulusevski even named Romero as one of his favourite teammates when asked who is his closest friend at Tottenham.
He added: “I have a lot of friends here,” he said.
“Rodrigo Bentancur, Cristian Romero, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. It’s a really close team.”
Both Romero and Kulusevski will be key to any success Spurs might have this season.
The pair were pivotal down the stretch under Antonio Conte last season and played a big part in the club getting back into the Champions League.
It’s great to see a positive spirit amongst the Spurs dressing room at the moment. Conte has rebuilt the togetherness in the squad after an underwhelming period following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino in 2019.
