Joe Hart was left out of Tottenham Hotspur’s squad last night amid rumours that he is about to sign for Celtic.
Hart to Celtic
The Athletic say that Celtic are expected to sign the goalkeeper, who appears to have fallen out of favour at Tottenham since Nuno’s arrival.
Jose Mourinho brought Hart in last summer and cited his experience as one of the key reasons why he wanted the former England international.
However, Nuno hasn’t taken long to deem Hart surplus to requirements.
Tottenham have promoted young goalkeeper Alfie Whitman over pre-season and they have already signed Pierluigi Gollini, with Hugo Lloris their number one.
Hart now has now place in Tottenham’s team and his move to Celtic could be edging closer, if Nuno’s team selection is anything to go by.
Nowhere to be seen

Hart was nowhere to be seen in Tottenham’s friendly against MK Dons yesterday.
That could be good news for Celtic, who had a miserable evening last night.
Celtic crashed out of the Champions League with their current number one Scott Bain not covering himself in glory during the contest.
And if Hart does move to Parkhead it is widely expected that Celtic will put him straight into their first-team.
There may be some doubts over Hart’s quality nowadays, as he has struggled for game time in recent years.
But Celtic fans only need to look at Steven Bergwijn’s comments to the Premier League’s official Youtube channel, where he called the 34-year-old ‘very fast’, to know that he still may have something to offer.
