Striker Vedat Muriqi was linked with a move to Premier League outfit Tottenham after some decent form at Fenerbahce last season.
The man-mountain talisman fired 17 goals and registered seven assists during 2019/20; eventually earning a move to Lazio.
Muriqi cost the Serie A outfit £17 million, making a mockery of Tottenham’s attempt to land him for just £4.5 million (A Spor).

The 26-year-old was seen as a player who could act as a backup option for Harry Kane.
His start to life in Italy has suggested that Tottenham perhaps got away with one over Muriqi, however.
The Kosovo international has found the challenge of playing in a top European league tricky, to say the least.
He has made four Serie A appearances and three in the Champions League but is yet to contribute to either a goal or an assist.
Muriqi has started in just three of his outings to date. For £17 million, Lazio might have expected more, however.
Jose Mourinho did plenty of solid business in the summer transfer window.

Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon both look like solid additions, whilst Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg looks a sound signing in the midfield engine room.
Muriqi might not have been ideal for Tottenham after all and his form at Lazio is perhaps showcasing some flaws in his game.
Spurs’ bid was seen as derisory by the Turkish outfit but perhaps Tottenham were wise not to value him as highly as Lazio did.
Muriqi could still come good. The early prognosis, however, suggests Mourinho had a lucky escape over the target man.
