Vakoun Issouf Bayo’s performance for Celtic reserves would have caught Neil Lennon’s eye as the new Bhoys boss watched on from the stands.
Bayo has had just one minute of action since joining Celtic in January but he staked his claim for a first-team call-up in the reserve game against Dundee.
The 22-year-old moved from Slovakian side Dunajska Streda during the January transfer window as Brendan Rodgers sought solutions in his striker department.
But the form of Odsonne Edouard, Ollie Burke and Timothy Weah has kept Bayo firmly on the fringes at Celtic Park so far.
That could change, however, after Lennon witnessed him help Celtic reserves to a comfortable 6-0 win over Dundee.

The twice-capped Ivory Coast international provided two assists and also got on the score sheet himself with a fine low finish.
Lennon was in the crowd to see Bayo in action and his performance would have encouraged his new manager.
There is, of course, a big difference between playing reserve level football and stepping up to the first-team, which is something Bayo still needs to do.
But the young striker’s first goal in green and white will give him confidence as he looks to break into the first-team picture.
