‘Unsung hero’: Leeds fans laud Stuart Dallas after Chelsea draw

Leeds United ground out a 0-0 draw with Chelsea this afternoon as they managed to keep a clean sheet against Thomas Tuchel’s resilient Blues side.

The Whites’ hopes were dented somewhat in the first half when Patrick Bamford was taken off injured. Tyler Roberts also had the ball in the  net, before he also hit the bar with a delightful effort from 18 yards.

But overall, a point was a fair reflection of a tight game in which Chelsea could also have won it with some good chances of their own.

Marcelo Bielsa will be delighted with his side’s efforts and some fans on Twitter thought Stuart Dallas was one Leeds player who warranted particular praise.

The former Brentford man was excellent back in a midfield role and helped quell Chelsea’s often brilliant attacks from midfield.

Twitter was full of comments from Leeds fans praising Dallas, so here’s a selection of what was being said about the Northern Irishman.
