'Unstoppable' winger 'likes' IG post saying Arsenal are pushing to sign him; Edu reportedly in talks now
Arsenal have been linked with Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukraine star Mykhaylo Mudryk in recent days.
Earlier this month, MediaFoot Marseille claimed the Gunners are among the teams eyeing the 21-year-old.
On Monday, Fabrizio Romano reported that Arsenal have explored a potential move for Mudryk.
“Keep an eye on top talent Mykhalo Mudryk,” the transfer insider wrote on Twitter.
“Everton had €30million (£25.5million) verbal proposal turned down by Shakhtar Donetsk last week.
“Arsenal have explored conditions of Mudryk deal a few days ago – but just on player side.”
Today, Ukrainian news outlet football24tv – via football.london – has provided a further update.
Arsenal have apparently held talks with Mudryk’s agents and would like to sign the player.
And now, it appears as though the player himself may have just revealed his stance towards a possible Gunners move.
Instagram account Transfers shared a post claiming Arsenal are pushing to sign Mudryk.
The post received a like from user Mmudryk10 – the official account of the Shakhtar gem.
“Perfect player for teams that love to play an attacking style of football”
Arsenal would be getting themselves a top talent in Mudryk.
The versatile attacker has been nicknamed the “Ukrainian Neymar” for his exciting style of play.
Shakhtar themselves have described Mudryk as “unstoppable” on their Twitter channel.
Meanwhile, Foot The Ball published an in-depth scouting article on Mudryk earlier this summer.
“The 21-year-old is a skilled player that can play anywhere across the front line but prefers the left-wing,” they wrote.
“Mudryk is a perfect player for teams that love to play an attacking style of football.
“He can score goals, but his speciality lies in assists. He can find that killer pass that can split open defences.
“In addition, he can also use his skill and pace to get past defenders.”
