‘Unreal’, ‘Brilliant’: Arsenal fans laud Rob Holding despite Southampton draw

Arsenal once again stuttered along in their Premier League campaign as they drew 1-1 with an in-form Southampton side at The Emirates.

The Gunners fell behind as former winger Theo Walcott dinked the Saints in front. However, a goal, finally, for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got the Gunners back in the game.

A red card for Gabriel, though, soured the evening and ensured that Mikel Arteta’s men didn’t quite have enough in the tank to over come the deficit and take three points, although a point is not bad in the current circumstances.

One of the better performers on the night was Rob Holding. The big defender, who has his critics, put in a good performance and was especially good once Gabriel was off the field.

Twitter, then, was awash with comments praising Holding, who seemingly impressed a number of Gunners fans.
