Arsenal have been linked with a shock move for Thiago Alcantara over the weekend.
The Daily Mail claim the Gunners have made enquiries about the Spanish maestro, who starred once again for Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on Sunday night.
The 29-year-old only has a year remaining on his contract at the Allianz Arena, and he may well have played his final game for the Bavarians.

Liverpool have been linked for weeks but are thought to have reservations about paying his asking price.
It would certainly be a shock if Thiago didn’t end up at Liverpool given the number of reports there have been.
And it would be even more shocking if he wound up at the Emirates.
A move to north London is probably unlikely for Thiago, but nothing is impossible and put simply, Thiago would be Arsenal’s best signing since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if he did join.
TBR’s View – Thiago would transform Arsenal
Thiago is very much in the prime of his career and is one of the world’s best deep-lying playmakers.
He was scintillating against Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon, once again demonstrating his fantastic vision and that breathtaking confidence and control to allow him to escape sticky situations.

Without question, if a deal was actually possible here for Arsenal, Thiago would be the best incoming at the Emirates Stadium since Aubameyang signed for a reported £56 million (BBC Sport).
Aubameyang has been a revelation for the Gunners since his arrival, scoring 70 goals in 109 games in all competitions and helping the club to the 2019/20 FA Cup.
His impact has been seismic, and adding the world-class Thiago to the mix would have a similar effect.
