Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez continued his fine form in front of goal on international duty. Leading the line for his country, Jimenez helped Mexico to a 3-1 win over Chile by opening the scoring.
The 27-year-old scored a penalty after 52 minutes to put Mexico 1-0 up before Hector Moreno and Hirving Lozano extended the lead to 3-0.
Chile hit back through Nicolas Castillo but Mexico cruised to a 3-1 victory. Jimenez led the line excellently before being replaced by West Ham’s Javier Hernandez for the final 15 minutes.
Jimenez is only on loan from Benfica for the season but the majority of Wolves fans are desperate to see them sign him permanently.

Operating as the physical presence up front and linking up well with Diogo Jota, Jimenez is central to implementing Nuno Espirito Santo’s style of play at Molineux.
Jimenez has scored 15 goals and registered six assists for Wolves this season, including a goal against Manchester United last weekend to help his side progress to the FA Cup semi-finals.
After scoring yet another goal during the international break, fans of Mexico and Wolves poured praise on Jimenez and here are some of the tweets.
