It now seems as if one Arsenal star could rather incredibly make their first start since August at the Emirates against Luton Town tonight.
Mikel Arteta is faced with a number of decisions for this mid-week game, trying to balance the need to win and also the games to come.

Luton Town certainly should not be underestimated, not only because of their performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, but also their impressive run of scoring in 18 consecutive league games.
So whilst a lot of Arsenal fans may be expecting a clean sheet tonight, it looks as if they could be disappointed.
However, those same fans should be treated to the return of one or two players who have been sorely missed over the last few months.
Takehiro Tomiyasu could return to the defence in place of either Jakub Kiwior or Ben White, who both looked tired late on against Manchester City.
And that being said, Thomas Partey could now also make his first Arsenal start since August following a horrendous run of injuries.

Partey has appeared on the Arsenal bench a few times since then, making some minutes here and there, but hasn’t properly contributed almost all season.
In addition, the midfielder, who Gilberto Silva recently called ‘underrated’, has often looked rusty in those short cameos.

However, when he replaced Jorginho at the Etihad on Sunday, he showed signs of what Arsenal have been missing with his seamless ball-progression.
The Ghanaian certainly isn’t up to full speed just yet, but showed enough to suggest he can still be very important for the title-race.
And with a fixture against Bayern Munich on the horizon, Mikel Arteta will surely want to get minutes in Partey’s legs.
Jorginho has been excellent of late, and doesn’t necessarily deserve to lose his spot for the big games mentioned, but a fully fit Thomas Partey simply is a better player.
That being said, we expect Arteta to make three changes to his Arsenal XI against Luton tonight – when anything other than three points will be a concern.
