West Ham United Under 23 Lead Coach Dmitri Halajko was keen to praise winger Nathan Holland after another goal in a 4-3 victory over Middlesbrough on Friday night.
As per the Hammers’ official website, Halajko said that Holland is as good as any player in his position in the league.
He said: “Nathan Holland was outstanding – he was the best player on the pitch. I think he’s quite possibly the best left midfielder in the league. He’s in fantastic form.
“He scored a goal and had a massive part to play in all three other goals, and he’s been doing that all season.”

TBR’s View – Holland pushing for a first team place but existing options performing well
Around this time last season, Grady Diangana caught the eye in an EFL Cup game against Macclesfield and provided a new lease of life to a campaign which got off to a slow start.
Holland is performing just as impressively at Under 23 level, but the quality of the options in the first team and the performances they’re putting in have kept him out of contention so far.
He can’t do any more than carry on impressing every week and hope that Manuel Pellegrini turns to him when there’s an injury or perhaps a cup tie.
