Leeds United posted a video yesterday on their Twitter account, highlighting the hard work going into training ahead of the Championship restart.

It was undoubtedly a tasty glimpse of what Leeds fans can expect ahead of football getting back underway.

One face who did appear in the video, whom Leeds fans may not be familiar with, was one of the goalkeepers in action.

Whilst regular number one Kiko Casilla, currently banned after a charge of using racist language, was conspicuous by his absence from the video, talented Italian stopper Elia Caprile was spotted by some eagle-eyed Leeds fans (2.17).

The Italian youth international joined Leeds for an undisclosed fee in the January transfer window. Shortly after, Leeds director of football Victor Orta praised the ‘character’ of the 18-year-old (Leeds Live) for deciding to up sticks and head to England from his former club Chievo Verona and test himself in a new country.

So far, Leeds fans have not yet been given the chance to see the player in action. However, after Casilla’s ban he found himself on the bench for the final two games pre-lockdown, supporting Illan Meslier and overtaking Kamil Miazek in the pecking order.

Leeds fans will undoubtedly be hoping Caprile can become a future star and seeing him already integrating into the first-team can only be a positive sign.
